CPM – What's Next?
In this practical session we’ll talk about how to “brand” yourself using your CPM designation as well as how you can continue your professional development and relationship with CPM.
Lynn Chisholm is Faculty for the Certified Public Manager program at the Center for Public Management at Florida State University. She was an adjunct instructor for 9 years and has been full-time faculty for 3 years, facilitating leadership and management development for rising leaders in the public sector and engaging in a lot of discussions on recruitment and retention of talent.
Lynn has been in higher education for 20+ years, having been clinical faculty at FSU, Clinic Director at UGA, Internship and PLA Coordinator at Polk State College, and Director of Internships and Career Readiness at USF-Tampa. Lynn has also been an independent consultant with Polk State and FIU in support of their internship and career readiness programming.
Lynn’s focus has been on career and professional development for the past 12 years. She also worked in workforce and organization development for 12 years at the City of Lakeland and enjoyed a career as a Speech-Language Pathologist for 20 years.
Lynn earned the Certified Public Manager designation in 2009, her master’s degree at Boston University, and her bachelor’s degree at UCF.
