Leadership Lessons from the Lone Nut
This presentation explores critical leadership lessons from the Lone Nut. During the session we will analyze the importance of first followers, the role of change agents, and transformational leadership. Together, these elements inspire innovation and systematic change within organizations.
Laura Herrscher is an Urban and Regional Planner, specializing in Transportation Planning. She has over 30 years of experience working with public sector agencies at
local and state levels of government in Florida and she presently works as a Senior Transportation Planning consultant with Stantec. Laura holds a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in political science. She is a certified planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is an active member of the American Planning Association. She successfully completed the Certified Public Manager (CPM) program in 2004.
As a former professional and Canadian national competitor in figure skating, Laura continues to support the sport as a judge and member of US Figure Skating. She enjoys traveling, watching movies with her son – the movie buff, and serving as official taste tester for her husband who is a professional private chef.
