Kervin St. Amie, a 2023 CPM Graduate has over 20 years of experience in electronic systems and equipment, with specialized knowledge in telemetry, SCADA, PLCs, Kronos, CMMS, VFDs, pumps, motors, control systems, intercoms, TV studio equipment, and CCTV security systems. He has more than 10 years of supervisory experience in the utility sector, where he has excelled in technical support, process improvement, maintenance, and defect resolution. He combines strong technical and analytical skills with excellent customer service.
Kervin is the Director of Solid Waste for the City of Clearwater. He supports and oversees citywide solid waste and recycling operations. He manages planning, budgeting, personnel, legal compliance, and project execution. Previously, Kervin was the Utilities Maintenance Manager for the City of Clearwater from 2012–23, a Public Utilities Specialist (SCADA) for the city from 2009–12 and an Instruments and Control Technician from 2007–09.
Prior to joining the City of Clearwater, Kervin worked for the Pinellas County school system as an Electronic Technician Journeyman and an Audio Visual Technician from 1993-2007. Kervin is Pursuing a B.S. in Project Management at St. Petersburg College and has a Degree in Industrial Electronics from Pinellas Technical Education Center (1989). He attended the ITT Technical Institute and is competent in Cybersecurity and technical writing. He is a member of the American Public Works Association.
Kervin’s blend of technical depth, leadership, and operational expertise makes him an asset in utility operations and systems management.
