This session will explore how to assess your workforce needs, manage employee reactions to change, and connect individual roles to your organization's mission. Discover the difference between satisfied and engaged employees, what workers really want from leaders, and how to measure true engagement. You'll leave with tools to help employees find purpose in their work and drive better organizational results.
Dawn is the Director of Quality Management for the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s office. She was part of a team that was instrumental in the Tax Collector’s office receiving the Governor’s Sterling Award in 2008, the Governor’s Sustained Excellence Award in 2011, and most recently the Governor’s Sterling Award in 2025.
She is a graduate of the Florida State University’s Certified Public Manager program, and is the Member Affairs Liaison for the FSCPM Suncoast chapter. Dawn is a recipient of the Florida Askew Merit of Recognition.
Dawn is a Sterling Master Examiner, a Sterling Examiner trainer and facilitator, and on the Sterling Council’s Conference Committee.
