Askew School of Public Administration & Policy at Florida State University
FCPM is proud to be part of the Askew School at Florida State University, one of the top-ranked public administration
programs in the country. This partnership allows FCPM to draw on the professors and research expertise of the Askew School. In return, FCPM connects the Askew School to a network of practitioners in many agencies across Florida.
Florida Society of Certified Public Managers
FSCPM is the alumni association for CPM graduates and participants in Florida. It has active chapters across the state that provide CPM grads with opportunities to continue learning and developing professionally. The chapters hold monthly meetings with guest speakers or presentations by members. FSCPM sponsors an annual symposium, and local chapters host similar events in their own areas. This is, in essence, the continuing education arm of the CPM Program.
National Consortium of Certified Public Managers
This is the national organization of CPM programs across the country. The Consortium establishes the competencies which must be taught in all CPM programs, accredits and reaccredits the various state programs, and holds bi-annual meetings to discuss and set policies for CPM programs nationwide.
FCPM partners with Innovative Group USA, and its founder Alaa El-Halwagy, to deliver certification programs around the world. FCPM and Innovative Group have been working successfully in the Middle East, particularly in Egypt, Dubai, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Clients include Caterpillar, General Motors, Vodafone, Etisalat, and DHL Worldwide.
